May 12, 2008 saw the deadly 7.8-magnitude earthquake in Wenchuan county of Sichuan province and a consequent tremor at 5 to 6 magnitude in Chengdu city, causing large number of casualties and property losses.
During the quake, Kelun and its affiliates have been dedicating themselves to the rescue and relief work. They determined to overfulfil the production and sales goal, so as to make their utmost effort to help the stricken.
Kelun has issued inter notices, calling for all its staffs to keep working under the premise of securing safety. In case of personnel or property losses suffered by Kelun staffs or their near kin in the quake, Kelun will offer substantial assistant to alleviate their losses and give them consolation.
