Up to 18:00, May 16, in the nationwide battle against the deadly earthquake in Sichuan province, Kelun Group has donated 5 million cash, and 4.5 million medicines and daily necessities, totaling 9.5 million Yuan, to disaster-relief organizations, such as Red Cross Society of China and Song Qingling Fund. Liu Gexin, board chairman of Kelun, believes, “The light of humanity will penetrate through the dark clouds eventually, yet Kelun shall keep on fighting when disaster comes.” In the face of conjunctures, Kelun showed great concern and respect for human lives, a strong sense of responsibility to “heal the wounded and rescue the dying”, therefore put up the lofty ideas of a Chinese private company.
